Milwaukee’s season is defined by a handful of bright spots against lesser opponents and a string of damaging losses away from home, so the committee is likely to view its at-large résumé as thin and to require a conference tournament title for NCAA entry. The best moments are a neutral-site escape against South Dakota State and road wins at Cleveland State and Youngstown State plus solid home results against teams like Hampton and Arkansas–Little Rock, but those victories come against low-end opposition and do not replace the impact of blowout losses at Indiana and Texas Tech and further heavy defeats at Wisconsin and Akron.
