Eastern Michigan’s profile is built around a handful of bright moments and several bad losses that cancel them out, starting with a resume-making road victory at Cincinnati and a high-scoring home win over Oakland but marred by a demoralizing trip to Louisville and shaky losses to midmajor and midwestern opponents; those damaging results away from home and the lack of neutral-site signature wins leave the committee still wanting more.
