Projection: first four out

Quinnipiac's resume is defined by notable road wins at Pittsburgh and Iona that prove it can win away from home, yet that upside is undercut by damaging results such as the blowout at St John's, the home loss to Yale, road setbacks at UCF and Hofstra and a razor-close defeat at Manhattan. Voters will reward the team's ability to win in hostile environments, but many of the other victories came against weak opponents and do little to erase those bad losses. The conference slate still hands Quinnipiac clear opportunities to change the narrative with marquee road tests at Merrimack and Siena and with key home dates against St Peter's and Manhattan while late trips to Canisius and Niagara offer chances to finish strong. A quality victory away from home would shift the committee's view considerably and without that kind of signature result the most reliable path to the national field runs through the conference tournament.
